Our reenactment grade pattens are based on a patten found in the Museum of London. The base is constructed of poplar, the straps are made of high quality vegetable tanned leather, the nails are handformed and the lace is made of hemp. Though a bit more expensive than the Regular pattens, these are accurate to the smallest detail.
Our 15th C pattens are also available in two grades – Regular and Reenactment grade. Pictured is the Regular grade. The only difference in the Reenactment grade would be the use of a high quality vegetable tanned leather. This style of pattens takes a bit more practice to wear than does the other style that we offer, but is more effective at keeping you feet out of deep water.
US$65.00 for the Regular pattens and US$70.00 for the Reenactment grade.
